Wozo Choir Plants Trees

November 21, 2010

This past Thursday was a national holiday in Haiti. It’s called Bataille de Vertiere and is in honor of the final battle in the slave revolt which led to their independence from France. Wozo, which is Haiti Partners sponsored children’s choir and dance troupe, used a day off from school to plant 150 trees. Here’s a short video filmed by choir director, Alex Myril. Chapo ba Wozo ! (Hats off to Wozo)
