“My name is Chloe Spingler. I am 16 years old and I’m on a mission to make a difference.”
A few months ago Haiti Partners was introduced to a high school junior from Sarasota named Chloe Spingler. As part of a school research project, Chloe developed a “framework for giving,” determined that Haiti Partners surpassed her criteria, and decided to make a $1000 gift drawing from sales from her own handmade jewelry business, Charmed by Chlo (charmedbychlo.com). Later, we had the pleasure of meeting her at both our Stories of Gratitude and Educate & Celebrate events.
Remarkable young woman that she is, Chloe didn’t stop there. With support from friends and family, she’s decided to put on a benefit luncheon to raise $10,000 for students in Haiti. See below for details.
If you’re in the Sarasota area, we encourage you to go. It’s a great venue and it promises to be an inspiring event. If you aren’t able to make it, we encourage you to support Chloe’s efforts by clicking through to the registration/donation page and making a gift. Tickets and donations are 100% tax deductible and all proceeds go to support the students at the Children’s Academy and Learning Center.
Thank you, Chloe, for your extraordinary engagement and commitment on behalf of students in Haiti. We look forward to staying in touch as you move forward and bring your gifts even farther out into the world!
