Since our beginning, Haiti Partners has been committed to entrepreneurship as a means to help Haitians change Haiti. We have sought to nurture a “can-do” spirit and cultivate the belief that each person can become an agent of change – a changemaker – in their own life and the life of their community. And today, after several years of experience on the ground supporting entrepreneurship activities, we feel as strongly about this as ever.

As we move forward in our thinking and programming in entrepreneurship, we felt it was time to share an in-depth background/update piece on the Entrepreneurship program. In it, we describe the program’s beginnings, its rationale, its purpose statement and objectives, and also provide an in-depth update on recent developments.
