We’re pleased to let you know co-director Kent Annan’s new book is officially released this week. The title is AFTER SHOCK: Searching for Honest Faith When Your World Is Shaken.
It has already received very strong endorsements from national figures like Tony Campolo, Jim Wallis, Debbie Macomber, Abigail Thomas, Rachel Held Evans, and others. Most importantly, though, we want it to be meaningful for you! We hope it’s a chance to learn more about Haiti during the past year and to be inspired by the compelling stories and honest take on faith, doubt, and hope.
You can buy After Shock on Amazon here: bit.ly/ekIK8B
We also wanted to share with you a few related ideas:
- 100% of the author proceeds go through Haiti Partners to help more people in Haiti receive quality education.
- Kent is going on a book tour that will take him through 19 cities across the U.S. and Canada in the next two months. He’d love to connect with you and any friends interested in Haiti Partners’ work and the book. His tour schedule is here: http://kentannan.com/speaking/
- If you like it, we invite you to suggest the book to your friends, church, small groups, adult classes, university, or book clubs.
- Below is a 2-minute video, a kind of modern psalm that’s taken from the book.
Most of all, we hope this book is encouraging for you.
Gratefully,
John & Kent (co-directors)
