Last Friday our 20 Civic Empowerment group leaders came together to assess project progress, address challenges, and work together to improve the project as it nears its conclusion. Topics included questions about Open Space meeting facilitation, best practices for leading groups through the Haitian constitution and how to do final evaluations as groups conclude.
These 20 leaders are training 1,000 educators and grassroots leaders throughout Port-au-Prince and Leogane in our Circles of Change methods. It’s a three-month program in partnership with USAID called Civic Empowerment and it includes using our participatory methods to study the Haiti Constitution.
