Winston Churchill once said “We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.” This rings true whether it is a gift of time, money, kindness, anything that will make a difference in one’s life.

April, Volunteer Appreciation Month, is coming to a close. While we try to express our appreciation each and every day, we want to reiterate our appreciation towards our kind and generous volunteers.

Whether a volunteer is assisting with office work, helping to plan an event, serving on our board, hosting an event, or networking to helping us advance our mission, every moment of volunteer time is a gift.
