This weekend we held our first annual Partners’ Retreat in Vero Beach. The Partners’ Retreat is an opportunity for Haiti Partners staff to come together with constituents who want to deepen their connection to the organization and to Haiti, and to learn more about how they can advocate on Haiti’s behalf. Friends and supporters from as far away as Toronto and Haiti were on hand for the day-and-a-half retreat. It was a fantastic group to work with and it generated a host of great ideas that we’ll be following up on in the coming months.
Many thanks to everyone who made this wonderful event a reality!

Co-Director, Kent Annan, introduces the event Friday night
Pastor Enel Angervil, a long-time Haitian friend and colleague, talks about Haiti Partners’ DISCIPLES program and the importance of using participatory education and prayer methods in his network of over 30 churches.
Small groups generate ideas for how to best partner with schools, churches and companies to advance Haiti Partners’ mission.
After meeting in small groups, everyone returns to the large circle to further discuss.
