On May 8, Haiti Partners Program Coordinator, Benaja Antoine, and colleagues from our partner school network visited the AMURT Integrated Healing and Education Center, Sant Felisite Sineyas, the at the IDP camp on Delmas 33 in Port-au-Prince. The urban agriculture that’s taking place here is truly astounding and just visiting is a great learning experience. The goal of the visit was to consider how the Children’s Academy can integrate gardening and agricultural education into school activities and the curriculum.
