School Day Starts with Song and Prayer
August 2, 2010 I (John Engle) arrived at our partner school in Cite Soleil with a group of visitors just before 8 am this past Friday. They start every day with song and prayer. It really is an oasis in the midst of the harsh conditions of Cite Soleil.
Caught in Storm on Island of La Gonave
August 2, 2010 Kietrie and Mary, who are part of our Schools Internship pilot, visited a partner school in a remote area of La Gonave. Traveling on motorcycles, they were caught in a torrential rain and in turn experienced Haitian hospitality.
