Haiti Partners engages again with Capstone students at IRSC School of Business

 In General, Volunteering

Haiti Partners is excited to have once again engaged with the Capstone participants at Indian River State College’s School of Business.

The participants, who act as consultants, were asked to suggest a plan to increase our engagement with supporters and potential supporters through various platforms of social media. They also offered ideas for a Back-to School campaign for the Children’s’ Academy and Learning Center.

The Capstone Project, which is the last project students complete before graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree, is a great way for students to work together to complete a project and put their skills to use while working with local Treasure Coast businesses or nonprofit organizations. This is our second project with IRSC and we are looking forward to working with them again.

Their ideas were presented to members of Haiti Partners Staff on July 23rd at Indian River State College.

Thank you to Neel Patel, Michelle Franklin, Megan Ellis, Jacqueline Modesitt, Kristyn Louke, and Taylor Modesitt gave an excellent presentation. Thank you to Dr. Herb Ricardo, Dr. Frank Harber, and Dr. Chris McChesney for introducing us to the Capstone Project. We look forward to more collaborations with IRSC.
