Join Us as we Do Good and Learn Together
Haiti Partners’ new workspace not only serves as our headquarters in Vero Beach, it’s also a center for activities and gatherings that build community as we do good and learn together. It is a place for both programs presented by Haiti Partners and those offered by other organizations who resonate with our mission. Activities are led by local community members and take place at:
1531 South U.S. Hwy. 1, Vero Beach, FL
(Indian River/Kmart Plaza, next to ACT Computers)
All 2019 Fall activities are $60 per person. Two-thirds of this goes to cover activity costs and one-third is a tax-deductible donation to Haiti Partners. For more details, and to sign up, see our current listings below. If you have any questions, please send us an email or call 772-539-8521.
Meditation with Anthony Profeta
Meditation is a practice where an individual uses techniques such as mindfulness to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. In a small group practice we will learn to cultivate the ability to put the mind where we want it, when we want it there, for as long as we want it there. “This is a very powerful ability. For, once we can do this, rather than the mind being the master of us, we become the master of our mind.” Anthony Profeta is an internationally-known medical student turned meditation/mindfulness teacher and singing bowl specialist.
