Land Purchased for Children’s Academy!

After a long process of searching for a piece of land large enough and flat enough for our Children’s Academy and Training Center campus, and then taking proper steps to correct a land deed that had some problems, Haiti Partners now owns 2.84 acres. We closed yesterday. As is custom in Haiti, members of family have to sign off on sales agreement. Seventeen of the twenty people came to notary’s office to sign and the remaining will come tomorrow.

Topography study has already been done and we’ll have another community meeting this Thursday to show plans that integrate feedback from community meeting last Sunday, which was attended by about 100 people.
