Haiti Partners is humbled and honored to be on this list. We love being a part of the WorldBlu network.

We are profoundly grateful for all of you with us in this work. Your support for students, families, and communities in Haiti means the world to us.

Hats off to WorldBlu founder, Traci Fenton, for the vision and conviction that democratic practices and freedom-centered leadership are key to a better world. “Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Most of us learned this saying growing up.

While cooperation and communication are human beings’ superpowers, enabling us to accomplish incredible things, our downfall is to concentrate and abuse power, which will likely lead to our self-destruction if we fail to master this tendency.

The abuse of power has led to untold human suffering and the destruction of the environment. While democracy is messy, what better way is there to limit the possibility of people abusing power?

We need WorldBlu principles and practices now more than ever!
