Stas Venglevski and Misha Litvin are two phenomenal Russian musicians who play the bayan (a mandolin like instrument with four strings) and domra (an accordian with buttons instead of keys). Both are classical Russian instruments.

Their artistry, dazzling technical command, and sensitivity are second to none! Audiences love them – their music, their humor  and their engaging manner. Stas and Misha have toured extensively both as a duo and as soloists throughout the former Soviet Union, Europe, Canada and the US (including performances with Garrison Keillor.)

A two time first prize winner of bayan competition in the Republic of Moldova, Stas is a graduate of the Russian Academy of Music in Moscow where he received his Masters Degree in Music.

Misha is just as accomplished, currently teaching at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music conducting the Mandolin Orchestra, and he previously held prestigious positions with the Leningrad Orchestra.

You will enjoy “The Russian Dance” from the Nutcracker, “Lara’s Theme” from Dr. Zhivago, many Russian folk tunes and even the Flight of the Bumblebee! Come be awed!
