In this latest Schools Program Report, there is much to celebrate:

• On February 27th the Children’s Academy held its 5th Anniversary celebration. It was a beautiful day with over 1,000 students, parents and community members coming from all over the area to celebrate.
• Village Savings and Loan groups continue to flourish at the Children’s Academy. Eight groups currently function reaching approximately 200 parents, staff, and other community members.
• Our Dabòn teacher development group is helping partner school teachers to implement new student-centered techniques more often and with greater success.
• In Bèl Platon, which was devastated by Hurricane Matthew, 5 homes were rebuilt, 15 homes were repaired, 120 goats were distributed, and more, thanks to emergency giving from HP supporters.
